I have a 8 year old spayed female Weimaraner named Fanci that was just diagnosed with Lymphangiestasia on Monday 8-9-16 we are treating with Royal Canine Gastro Interstinal Low Fat can dog food she had 4.2 liters of fluid removed from her abdomen on 7-20-16 had all the test run and liver, kidney and heart are all fine then we had an Endoscopy done on 8-3-16 and the results came back on 8-9-16 we are treating for CIL but not ruling out IB she has been on Royal Canine since 8-2-16 and the fluid has not come back which is good. Just started her on prednisone yesterday and we are also using Prilosec. I'm just trying find out out if there is any cure or what is life expectancy and if it is painful nothing has been said about that
