Hello we found out our English Bulldog "Moose" is suffering with severe IBDand secondary Lymphangiectasia.
He is 6 and has progressively worsened overy three months . He was a robust 64lbs and dropped to 41lbs prior medication.
He has been on trial iv therapy of ivgg taking prednasone and azathioprinse and clavamox and metronidazole along with slippery elm and ginger and glutamine and a diet of Turkey and mash potatoes.
He seemed physically better less lethargic is now 51 lbs but still chronic gas and swelling of the stomach
In short his protein levels low and white blood cells low and AL bumin.
Now that they have stopped his Iv treatment they are suggesting hyper aria therapy twice a day for 5 days week. We don't want to give up but we know so little about this. Has anyone had the same treatment for their Dog?
Anyone have info on dogs and treatment like this ?
Thank you
