Hi everyone. Niki is my sweet, 6 yrs old Boston Terrier and has been battling CIL for about a year now. She has been on Royal Canin GI low fat can and hard food For About 6 months. Niki takes 10 mg prednisone in the mornings, cyclosporine, 50mg twice a day and tylan powder twice a day. I also give her denamarin in the mornings. She was getting the prednisone and pepcid at night up until last month.
I just got her latest blood work back and she is almost there...protein up to 4.6 (from 2.9), albumin 2.3 (from 1.6)!! Niki even gained 2 1/2 lbs over the last month!
I know her health could go south again....but today I'm celebrating!
